ROSCO BASS CATCHER 400 CANOE
Following in the success of the smaller Bass Catcher 300 & the larger Bass Catcher 500, the new Bass Catcher 400 unites the designs of the current models by incorporating their best features into this tremendous mid-sized canoe.
Note the up-swept stern keel section, which reduces drag for more efficient planing speed. A dual-purpose skeg stops swinging in the breeze and collects bilge water. The generous beam provides a high level of stability and allows a whopping 400kgs payload.
Fishing couldn`t be simpler. Transport and access to the water is the hardest part of a day on the water now that is no issue with the lightweight and easily transportable Bass Catcher series. There is no reason not to take the day off and wet a line.
Note: registration is not required for this craft so those expensive annual registration fees are no longer a problem!
Check out the features with those of our opposition – you will soon appreciate that the Rosco Bass Catcher is a purpose designed fishing canoe and not just an ordinary canoe with the end removed.
This canoe was designed as a single or multi-person fishing canoe incorporating an integral transom and is ideal for rivers, lakes and protected estuaries.
This model can be used with or without a motor.Very stable yet turns well. Wide transom accepts petrol motors up to 4hp (2.5 hp is ideal) or electric motors (at least 24lbs thrust).
Motor clamping pad on transom is offset to give a more natural steering arm position. Skeg keel stops anchor swing and collects bilge water. Up-swept stern keel section reduces drag for more efficient planing speed. Full width seats (lowered for extra stability and to allow use of fold-down swivel seats) permit seating positions right up against the sides of the boat. Open gunwales for ease of emptying and cleaning. Aluminum edging for added protection. Foam buoyancy in sealed end bulkheads. Molded bow hand grip and carry toggles on each end. Stainless steel mounts for easy mooring and anchor retrieval and deployment.
