ROSCO BASS CATCHER 500
The Rosco Bass Catcher 500 is a natural extension of our already successful Bass Catcher series of canoes. The BC 500 is our largest version with some unique features.
Fishing couldn`t be simpler. Typically, you might find that transport and access to the water is the hardest part your day on the water; that no longer has to be an issue with the lightweight and easily transportable Bass Catcher canoes. There is no reason not to take the day off and wet a line.
Note: registration is not required for this craft so those expensive annual registration fees are no longer a problem!
Note the high bow and flare which gradually tapers out towards the mid-section. This provides a drier ride in choppy conditions (ideal for light bay work). The deep sides and extra wide beam allow for very large payload capacities. This combined with its outstanding lightness makes the Bass Catcher 500 canoe a real stand out among the fishing fraternity.
- This canoe is very stable yet turns well.
- Attractive kleppor bow with distinct flare which tapers off through the craft.
- Wide transom accepts petrol motors up to 4hp (2.5 hp is ideal) or electric motors (at least 24lbs thrust).
- Skeg keel (with screw in bung for drainage) stops anchor swing and collects bilge water.
- Up-swept stern keel section reduces drag for more efficient planing speed.
- Full width seats (lowered for extra stability and to allow use of fold-down swivel seats) permit seating positions right up against the sides of the boat.
- Open gunwales for ease of emptying and cleaning.
- Aluminum edging for added protection.
- Foam buoyancy in sealed end bulkheads.
- Molded bow hand grip and carry toggles on each end.
- Standard stainless steel bollards and cleats for easy mooring and anchor deployment and retrieval.
